Homemade Tartar Sauce Recipe
Fishing is in full swing right now in Minnesota!
There's nothing like going out on the boat and catching some sunfish or walleye to bring home and fry up!
What goes best with some fresh, breaded lake fish? Homemade Tartar Sauce!
My Dad makes this recipe all the time!
I was never much of a tartar sauce fan and usually went without, until I tried this recipe. You really can't get any simpler than this.
Finely chop some onions and pickles, mix with Miracle Whip, pickle juice, salt and pepper! It's that fast!
Store in the refrigerator while you're frying the fish and serve!
This recipe is enough for a few people, but it's easy enough to multiply the recipe for larger crowds. We tend to have a huge fish fry when everyone comes off the lake at dinnertime.
So much fun and so much deliciousness! It is truly one of my favorite things about summertime in Minnesota! Enjoy!
