Ingredients;
- 1 pound (480 g) skinless and boneless chicken breasts ,stripped or cubed
- 15 oz (450 ml) can black beans ,rinsed and well drained
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 large yellow onion ,peeled and cut into wedges
- 14 1/2 oz (435 ml) can diced tomatoes with green chilies ,undrained
- 6 oz (180 ml) can Italian tomato paste roasted garlic
- In a slow cooker ,combine all ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on low heat setting for 4 /12-5 hours.
- Turn off slow cooker.
- Transfer cooked chicken with vegetables and accumulated juices into serving bowl.
- Serve hot.
