Slow Cooker Balsamic Barbeque Smoked Sausage Bites Recipe
I'm really looking forward to Christmas at my Dad's this year! Everyone is bringing an appetizer and my Step-mom is making her usual holiday treats that we all look forward to. I love snacking all afternoon on a little of this and that while we drink wine, visit and play our annual present exchange dice game! I scored some fun prizes to give in the clearance aisle at Walmart today and cannot wait to see what everyone else brings!
If you're looking for an appetizer to bring to your holiday celebration, you'll want to try this easy Balsamic Barbeque Smoked Sausage Bites recipe! The most effort is caramelizing the onions, but they really add a delicious burst of flavor to the sauce. All you do is add the onions and the rest of the ingredients to a slow cooker and the rest is easy peasy!
You can find the balsamic ketchup right next to the regular ketchup at the grocery store, and boy does it ever taste good! I happen to be a HUGE balsamic lover, so I really love it, but it is a great sub for regular ketchup when you want to jazz up a burger or some fries!
What are some of your favorite appetizers during the holidays?
