Easy Coconut Flour Fried Cauliflower Recipe - Guide Recipe

For this recipe all you will need is one head of cauliflower. Wash and trim cauliflower. Break into flowerets. You can season your cauliflower at this time using salt , black pepper , cayenne pepper and garlic powder.

The batter is basically simple. You would need 1 tablespoon of garlic powder , 2 teaspoon of salt , 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper , 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper , 1/2 cup of coconut flour , 1/4 cup of arrowroot and 2 egg whites.  Place the egg whites in one container , the arrowroot in another container and place the coconut flour and the seasonings together in another container.

Dip the florets one by one in the arrowroot or tapioca flour first and shake off excess. Then dip into egg whites and coat with the season coconut flour mixture. After coating all of the florets warm up the coconut oil in a large pot or wok , you will need only 1/4 cup of coconut oil. Make sure the temperature is hot enough to fry them. Place florets in the pan and fry until golden brown.

Once florets are browned place them on a paper towel or paper bag to remove excess oil. Top with sea salt , and cayenne pepper. You can eat them as is or make a fabulous dip or sauce. I chose to make a sweet and sour chili sauce.
