Cheesy Chicken, Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach Crescent Rolls Recipe
I love the holiday season. It's seriously my favorite time of year! I enjoy the extra family time and good food, but I also just love feeling blessed and sharing those blessings with others.
This time of year you can always find me in the kitchen experimenting and trying new recipes. Fall and winter meals such as casseroles, soups or anything baked in the oven is comfort food to me. There's nothing like warming up the house with the oven on a cold day and eating a hearty and delicious meal.
It's somewhat of a tradition for me to make a brand new recipe to share with everyone at our family holiday meals. I've done desserts, drinks, appetizers and sides and they are a hit every time! These Cheesy Chicken, Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach Crescent Rolls would be a fantastic addition to your Thanksgiving meal. In less than 20 minutes, you can prep, bake and serve them to your guests.
The combination of mozzarella cheese, cooked chicken breast, sun dried tomatoes and spinach is delicious. Then after it's rolled up and baked in a Pillsbury Crescent® it tastes like total perfection! These are great as an appetizer when cut in half, or even a side. You could also use turkey instead of chicken, especially on Turkey Day!
We tested them out when I had company a few days ago and everyone really liked them. I served the rolls with some alfredo sauce for dipping and it was the perfect sized lunch. The flavor possibilities are pretty much endless when making these stuffed Pillsbury Crescent® rolls.
I remember my Mom always making Pillsbury Crescents® growing up. She would always bake them according to package directions and serve with dinner. I still love them made the traditional way, but also love being able to re-purpose them into a meal idea for something completely different! I'm super excited to try other meat, veggie and cheese combos!
