Blueberry and Wild Rice Breakfast Bowl Recipe
Growing up in Minnesota, wild rice is something you'd see everywhere!
From chicken wild rice soup, to a cream of something hotdish at the family potluck, or in pancakes! It's everywhere!
I especially love wild rice in breakfast recipes and I have such a tasty new one for you today!
I picked up some blueberries at Aldi for a super low price and was browsing through a local blueberry recipe book when I stumbled across the inspiration for this Blueberry and Wild Rice Breakfast Bowl!
It's a little sweet, and the warmth of the heated wild rice softens the blueberries perfectly.
You can use milk, half and half, or cream depending on how light you'd like to make it.
It's hearty and filling and with all the berries around in the summer, it's a great way to use them.
Have you ever tried wild rice before? If so, what's your favorite way to use it?
