Both my daughter and I are huge fans of tomatoes!
We love them fresh and canned, basically any way we can eat them.
Canned tomatoes are defintely a pantry staple at our house. I most often use diced tomatoes, whole tomatoes or tomato sauce and some of the recipes that use those are reader favorites here on the blog!
Everyone raves about our Tomato Basil Garlic Noodle Soup, Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas and Sausage and White Bean Soup.
Head on over and give them a try! These recipes are the perfect comfort foods to make when it's cold outside.
This soup is not only tasty, but it's SO easy to make! It tastes amazing and the leftovers refrigerate well for lunch or dinner the next day.

I recently discovered Pomi Tomatoes. Their tomatoes are packaged in stay fresh, BPA free cartons and are 100% natural!
No additives or preservatives... just straight up tomatoes.
I couldn't wait to try them and knew they would be a great in this soup. The Pomi Chopped Tomatoes are like diced tomatoes in other brands and the Strained Tomatoes were more like a thick tomato sauce.
I find them at Walmart, or order them from Amazon, if you're not able to find them locally.
I chose to cook the pasta separately in this recipe because I'm not a fan of mushy noodles.
We usually have cooked pasta in the fridge most days, to make meal prep quicker and easier on those busy weeknights.
We serve this soup with a salad, sandwich or a chunk of crusty bread for dipping.
It's a favorite at our house and an internet favorite! It currently has over 200,000 pins on Pinterest with many reviews and comments over there.
