15 Minute Ground Beef and Bean Tostadas Recipe
One of the fastest weeknight meals you can make and absolutely delicious!
I know all of you can relate... fierce Mexican food cravings. A visit to the local Mexican restaurant wasn't enough to satisfy my craving, so I whipped up a new and fast recipe at home to complete my 2 day Mexican food feast!
I know, recipes like these aren't truly Mexican, more like Mexican American, but still very delicious! I was browsing through an old church cookbook and stumbled across the recipe that inspired this one. I always have ground beef in the freezer that I buy in bulk from my favorite meat market, so the rest of the ingredients came from the fridge and pantry after my Aldi trip last week!
These tostadas are done in 15 minutes, from start to finish. I prep all my toppings while the beef is browning, then assemble after the beef and bean mixture is done. I used canned refried beans, but if you make your own from scratch, definitely use them instead! This meal is filling and super reasonable to make! This will be going into the regular recipe rotation!
What's your favorite Mexican meal?
